STEM Programs & Outreach

ESW participates in several K-12 educational programs throughout the year, such as Exploring Engineering Day in the spring. Many of these programs are focused on encouraging sustainability, sustainable design, and the advantages of using engineering and science. These include programs for Rensselaer students, prospective students, and young students from Troy.

ESW Abroad

Each international ESW project aims to implement sustainable technologies as well as educate the communities of these sustainable technologies. Whether by solar technologies in Mexico, or agriculture and hydroponic technologies in Haiti, ESW makes an educational impact in each community we work with.

 

ESW Speaker Series

We will be scheduling speakers throughout the year to share their experiences, knowledge, and advice with students.   In the past, these have included professors, corporate representatives, and professional speakers. These events are open to all students and advertised across campus.
